By Air

The Bamrauli airport is at a distance of 10 km from the city of Allahabad, where some flights arrive. The bigger airport is at a distance of 150 kms at Varanasi which being another famous pilgrimage place has in turn a number of flights connected to, many other Indian cities on a daily basis. These flights are operated by both public and private airlines.

By Rail

Trains to Allahabad come from many important cities such as Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Delhi, Mumbai, etc. Allahabad junction is the primary railway station in the city which has many fast trains coming into and going out from the city.

By Road

The national highways 27 and 2 passing through Allahabad have connections to many parts of India. Bus communication is good to many cities like Lucknow, Varanasi, Patna, Kanpur, Gorakhpur and Jhansi as well as to many distant towns and villages. These buses are run by State Road transport Corporation and the private bus owners.
