Madan Mohan Malviya (Freedom Fighter) was a prominent leader in India who was an educationist, a freedom fights and played an important role in the freedom movement of India who had a strong belief in the hindu nationalism. In the later years, the name Mahamana was given to him. On 4 occasions, he became the Indian national congress president and he established the Banaras Hindu University in 1916 that now has more than 12,000 people studying arts, technology and science subjects. This university is one of the biggest in the world and also the largest university with residential facilities in the world. He was the vice Chancellor of the university from 1919 to 1938. Scouts in India was also founded by Pandit Malviya. The Leader newspaper in English was started by him in 1909 from Allahabad.
Motilal Nehru was one of the leaders of Indian National Congress who played an important role in the Indian National Movement apart from being a lawyer. He was the president of the INC for two terms. Motilal Nehru was the first of the India’s highly influential and powerful family in politics which was the Nehru-Gandhi family.

Indira Priyadarshini Gandhi was well known as the prime minister of India, who in the list was the 3rd one but went on to serve for the maximum years in this post, which still is the longest in Indian political history and second longest in the world. She was the prime minister for the first term from 1966-77 and then again from 1980-84. She was the second female to achieve this post in the world after Sirimavo Bandaranaike of Sri Lanka and the first female prime minister in the country.
